App of the Week – Alt-C

Alt-C is an app which serves one purpose alone - seamless copy and pasting between your smartphone and your computer. When you use this app, text is copied from your PC to your device (or vice versa) with the simple press of a Global Hotkey. Simply connect both devices to the internet, install the app, sync them up, and you're good to go.
This app uses Google Cloud Messaging with SSL connections to copy the text. It makes use of a copy hotkey as well to sync your text between devices.
Does it do much more than that? No, not really. But you may actually find yourself using this functionality pretty frequently. At the price of free, anyway, who could go wrong?
